Pamela A. Bond is an assistant professor in the Department of Dramatic Art. She teaches Survey of Costume History. She believes that in order for students to experience the full scope as theatre practitioners they must be willing to explore diverse ethnic and cultural backdrops, as well as their own, to create a unique costume design fingerprint. Research skills and methodologies developed in the class and life serve as catalyst in reaching the costume designers and makers ultimate goal.

Her costume design credits include the educational video Crafting Freedom with The Apprend Foundation, Jackie O with Long Leaf Opera and For Colored Girls and Black Boys at the National Black Theatre Festival.

Ms. Bond also serves as costume designer and guest professor for North Carolina Central University Theatre. She has served as assistant professor of theatre at Hampton University.
