Ruthie Allen (Director) is a senior studying public policy, education, and PPE. In the past, she's directed with ktc, assistant directed with Company Carolina, and costumed with Company Carolina, Pauper Players, and ktc. Upcoming pro- jects include KTC's 2019 Me Too Monologues as Co-Director. Be sure to head back to the Kenan in January for that project! She sends her love and thanks to Gage, Amelia, Dave, and the cast and crew.

Marcella Pansini (Lissa) is delighted to be making her debut with the Kenan Theatre Company! She has previously appeared in The Vagina Monologues with Company Carolina and Just Like Us with UNC's Office for Diversity & Inclusion and the Carolina Latinx Collaborative. She is a sophomore studying Business Administration and Public Policy with a minor in Education. She currently serves as the Executive Direc- tor of Pupusas 4 Education.

Jared Bowen-Kauth (Brody) is a sophomore majoring in Neuroscience and Dramatic Arts. His past pro- ductions include Company Carolina’s The Wild Party and Pippin. He is excited about performing in his first production with KTC! He wants to study drama therapy and work with kids with special needs. He would like to thank his friends and family for supporting his love for theatre. If you see him, he will probably be studying for a neuroscience exam in the middle of a dress rehearsal because “the grind never stops.”

Kayla Brown (Beth) is a sophomore at UNC majoring in Dramatic Art! She loves to act, stage manage, and be part of the creative process in any way she can! Recent performance credits include Janet in Pauper Players' Rocky Horror Picture Show, #8 in The Wolves (KTC), Narrator in The Vagina Monologues (Company Carolina), Ismene in Antigonick (KTC). Kayla is a member of the LGBT+ community and is so glad that the lovely Gage Tarlton took it upon himself to bring more representation into the world. She is thankful to Ruthie and Gage for letting her help bring this story to life. She hopes you enjoy the show and will con- tinue to support KTC!

Kent McDonald (Thomas) is a senior English literature and dramatic art double major with a history minor. This is his KTC debut. Kent is very grateful to be involved in this production. His favorite color is pink. Please take his CSTART class. That’s all.

Gage Tarlton (Playwright) is currently a junior at UNC-Chapel Hill, where he also works as the Artistic Assistant at PlayMakers Repertory Company. Over the summer of 2018, he workshopped and presented Just Like Now as a staged reading at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. He is so happy to see it finally come to life in this full production. Upcoming writing credits include Lockdown, a commission by LAB! Theatre that will premiere in March, and The Last Blueberry on Earth, a one-act play that will mark his NY writing debut this February with the off-off Broadway company, The Dare Tactic. He would like to thank KTC for their contribution and commitment to this play, Ruthie Allen for her dedication and leadership, Savannah Tarlton for reading every single draft of every play he writes, the Rats for their never-ending love and support, and his family for everything.

Amelia Jerden (Stage Manager) is a sophomore studying journalism and dramatic art. She most recently stage managed KTC’s production of The Language Archive earlier this fall and is so hype to be working with KTC again, especially on this wonderful world premiere. When she isn’t in the theater, Amelia likes to watch movies, cuddle with her dog, or chill with the squad. Many thanks and congratulations to the pro- duction team, cast, and crew!

Genna Crites (Lighting Designer) is a sophomore Information Science major. This is the third show Crites has worked on lighting design for at UNC, the other two being A View From The Bridge and Hedda Gabler. This is a wonderful place to thank the dear friends of second floor Cobb that have supported Crites throughout this se- mester. Enjoy the show!

Jaya Kuic (Scenic Designer) is a sophomore majoring in Global Studies and History, and she feels honored to have helped bring this incredible student-written work to the stage. She has previously worked in stage manage- ment and scenic design with KTC and LAB! Theater.

Betsy Scarsbrick (Costume Designer) is a junior journalism major, and is so proud and honored to be a part of the original team on this extremely important work!! As this is her first time heading costumes without the help of her besties George and Ruthie, she hopes she’s made them proud! She is so thankful for the opportunity Gage and Ruthie have given her, and is also thankful for their friendship <3 Cheers to the cast and crew—break legs pooties!!

Nellie Wise (Properties Master) is a senior studying Dramatic Art. Just Like Now is her fifteenth show with KTC. Some of her favorite roles with the company include being the Scenic Designer for The Importance of Being Earnest and working as the Props Master for The Kritik. She wants to thank her family for their unconditional love and support!
