New York Carolina Arts “Young Alumnus Spotlight” on Patrick Robinson ’13

Patrick Robinson of Greensboro, NC, an actor-playwright-singer-rapper-director living in NYC since his 2013 graduation from Carolina (Dramatic Art major, Creative Writing minor), was featured at yesterday’s New York Carolina Club Arts Brunch, the 20th annual May gathering of this alumni group.  [University Club, May 21st, 2017]

 Patrick was honored with the group’s “Young Alumnus Spotlight” Award.  His play July House was first performed at Carolina (Kenan Theatre Company, 2013) and later produced as part of the New York Fringe Festival in 2015, He performed the role of Man in the Roadside Theatre-Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre Off-Broadway production of Betsy! and he regularly performs with the band Robbing Johnny, which appeared at the legendary Bitter End in New York last fall and which recently toured North and South Carolina.
