Erin Rodgers

Erin Rodgers is a professor of costume technology and history at Clemson University. Previously she worked at the University of Florida as the Costume Shop Assistant, draping and assisting the costume shop manager.

While at UNC, she was a draper for various PlayMakers Repertory Company productions including As You Like It, Julius Caesar, Everybody, and Ragtime. She was a Gillings Fellow and held a graduate research assistantship in the Costar collection of vintage clothing. Prior to graduate school, Erin lived in New York City, working for several years at the New York City Ballet costume shop, as well as Radio City Music Hall and Parsons-Meares. She has worked regionally in theatres such as Utah Shakespeare Festival, Heritage Theatre Festival, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and Orlando Shakespeare Theater.

Her particular costume interests include historical patterning, costume history research, tailoring, and millinery. Erin also has a BA in Art from Furman University.
