Lou Pires is third-year graduate student. She received her undergraduate degree in Event Technology from Jorge Amado University in Bahia, Brazil. They have worked professionally with various designers in Brazil producing both sets and costumes for music and dance productions. She worked as Costume Shop Assistant at Teatro Castro Alves in Salvador, Bahia from 2010 to 2014. Since 2014, they are the founder and owner of Amarelo HandMade, where she researches, designs and constructs handmade sneakers.
