The professional actors in our resident company work closely with the Professional Actor Training Program at the Department of Dramatic Art to prepare graduate students with the skills necessary to pursue a career in the theatre. Each year, new graduate students become a part of our acting company for the duration of their education.

All of our professional theatre designers, theatre artists and technicians are also faculty members in the Department of Dramatic Art. Being in residence at the University gives us the luxury of being a professional company of actors and technicians training future professionals by challenging them with the professional standards at PlayMakers.
