UNC costume students’ work featured in new 3D printing textbook

January 24, 2018

A new Focal Press release by Anne E. McMills, 3D Printing Basics for Entertainment Design, features work by UNC graduate and undergraduate students under the supervision of professor Rachel E. Pollock, as well as Pollock’s own research. Numerous costume applications from mask supports to dyeability of filament plastics are included, and UNC’s contributions stand alongside those by artists at Disney and Cirque du Soleil. We’re so proud to be in such good company, representing academic research and practical applications in this seminal text!
