Emma Scaggs (Mama) is a freshman Biology and Dramatic Art double major. This is her first role with KTC and she’s very excited to start working with UNC Theatre! Special thanks to Kristen Winchester, who convinced her to continue studying theatre after high school.

Graham Prevatte (Dad) is a Junior German Studies major with a minor in Computer Science. This is his first role with KTC and is honored to have worked with everyone involved in the production.  He would like to thank his family and grandma for their support in all of his endeavors, even though his grandma needs constant reminders of what those endeavors are.

Rebekah Dare Guin (Jesse) is a senior in the School of Media and Journalism. As self-proclaimed department minion, she has been an active part of KTC during her time at Carolina. Outside of Carolina, she has been a part of the performing arts for the past decade. Her favorite roles include: Aunt Eller in Oklahoma, The March Hare in Alice in Wonderland, and Mrs. Williams in This is a Test.

Molly Looman (Vera) is a first year economics major and drama minor. This is her first production with the Kenan Theater Company and she is thrilled to be a part of it.

Makayla Hamerick (Sherri) is a junior Communication and Dramatic Art double major with a minor in History. This is her second role with the Kenan Theater Company, her first being Anya in The Cherry Orchard. She also is a member of the Tar Heel Tale Tellers and leads the Communiversity children’s theater education program through Kenan Theater Company. She would like to thank her family for their constant support and her friends for dealing with all her nonsense.

Danielle Schaefer (Natalie) is a senior Dramatic Arts and Journalism double major. This is her fourth show with KTC and her third time participating in a Lillian Chason Production. Her favorite hobbies include dog-spotting and eating an unreasonable amount of mac-n-cheese. She fancies herself a young Kristen Wiig with the looks of Danny DeVito. She has a difficult time taking most things seriously, including this bio.

Rachel Blennerhassett (Female 1) is an exchange student from Trinity College Dublin.  She is junior Drama and Theatre studies major. She is very excited to be playing her first role with KTC. In Dublin she regularly plays roles in the plays of the Players drama society her favourites being  being Captain Kirk in Star Trek, Foster in Dust and Merret in Good bye to Berlin. She would like to thank her friends in Chapel Hill and abroad and her family for their support.

James Scalise (Male 1) is a junior computer science major at UNC. This is his third KTC production, after Failure: A Love Story and Love’s Labour’s Lost. He would like to thank Ariana Grande.

Zavier Taylor (Male 2) is sophomore majoring in Dramatic Art & Computer Science. This is his third show with KTC. He enjoys long walks on sandless beaches, sad songs, and wholesome memes.

Alex LaGrand (Scenic Designer) is a junior double-majoring in English and Dramatic Art with a minor in Medieval and Early Modern Studies. She currently serves as the official dramaturg for KTC and set designed last year’s Lillian Chason production of The Fairytale Lives of Russian Girls. She would like to give a special shout-out to Shakespeare for being the only man in her life.

Kevin Pendergast (Scenic Designer) is a junior Dramatic Arts major with a minor in Entrepreneurship. This is his first time working with KTC and is loving every moment of it! When not working on this show, he serves as the Scene Shop Undergraduate Assistant for PlayMakers and is Co-Founder of Full Flight Media, LLC. Kevin would like to thank his co-designer, Alex LaGrand, for inviting him along on this journey. He would also like to thank the rest of the production team, the cast, and the crew for making this an amazing experience!

Emily McGregor (Stage Manager), junior Dramatic Art and Communication Studies double major, returns to KTC after stage managing Love’s Labour’s Lost last spring.  When she’s not daydreaming about this absolutely fantastic cast and crew, she distracts herself from adulting by cross stitching, drinking Cheerwine, and double-knotting her shoelaces.

Whitney Edmonds (Costume Designer) is a senior majoring in Dramatic Art and minoring in Asian studies. This is her first year with KTC. Though, she has previously worked with Company Carolina and The New Theatre of Dublin. Outside of the arts, Whitney actively participates in UNC Club Gymnastics and the Bonner Leaders Program. She would like to give special thanks to all of those supporting her theatrical endeavors.

Savannah Hamiter (Light Designer) is a senior undergraduate student double majoring in Dramatic Art and Women’s and Gender Studies, this is her second show designing with KTC and fourth overall. She works for Playmaker’s Repertory Company as an electrician and assistant to the lighting designers. She is also interested in stage managing and has skills in stage makeup. She is so grateful to be working on the Chason production with an incredible team and cannot wait for you all to see it.

Liz Kent (Producer) is a senior studying for a BM in Vocal Performance and a BA in Dramatic Art. This is her 3rd show producing for KTC, and she looks forward to acting in her second KTC show this Fall, Elephant’s Graveyard. She is so grateful for the Kenan Theatre Company and all it has taught her as a technician, an actor, and as a person. Thanks to her friends, family, and dog for their consistent support.

Griffin Gast (Sound Designer) is a senior Dramatic Art and History major and this is his first time designing with KTC. When. It working with KTC, he works with the LAB! Theatre Company as a producer. He would like to thank Tiffany, Dave, and Emily for this opportunity and all their hard work on this incredibly important show.

Ariana Rivens (Producer) is a junior psychology major with minors in dramatic art and social and economic justice. This is her first show with Kenan Theatre Company and she thanks everyone at KTC for their patience and encouragement. Ariana is also a Craige Resident Advisor, a McNair Scholar and a lover of all things red velvet flavored.

Victoria Collins (Assistant Stage Manager) is a Drama major and Writing for the Screen and Stage minor. This is her first show with KTC, but previously she has been involved in various roles with student films on campus. She also works as the Assistant PR Manager for UNC SafeWalk and volunteers with a local battered women’s shelter.

Anthony Cacchione (Assistant Lighting Designer) is a senior Chemistry and Dramatic Art double major who is delighted to be working another season with Kenan Theatre Company. Recent credits include The Fairytale Lives of Russian Girls and The Sower with LAB! Theatre.

Kim O’Neill (Assistant Stage Manager) is a junior Dramatic Arts and Political Science major and is excited to be on the stage management team with KTC again! She has also worked on shows with North Carolina Theatre in the past, her favorite being Mary Poppins. She would like to thank her family for all the support (and the tacos).

Nellie Wise (Technical Director) is a sophomore from Louisville, Kentucky. This is her second year working as the Technical Director for the Kenan Theater Company, and she is loving it more than ever! She wants to thank the crew and volunteers for all of their hard work, as well as her parents for being so supportive!

Dalia Blevins (Props Master) is a first year from Winston Salem, NC who is excited to do props for this show! Her most recent theatrical endeavors include working on Cabaret, as well as Violet, The Me Too Monologues, Beauty and the Beast and many others. She would like to thank her family at Carolina and back at home (Fluffy the dog), as well as, most importantly, the cast and crew for their limitless love and support.
