Greg Oliver Bodine received aNew York Innovative Theatre Awardsnomination for ‘Outstanding Solo Performance’ in his one-man play, POE, TIMES TWO, which was produced at WorkShop Theater Company. The play was also nominated for ‘Outstanding Lighting Design’ and ‘Outstanding Production of a Remounted Play.’ Greg is also very happy to announce that his short play, THE FATW OF CORPSMAN JOHNNY JONES, has just been selected to be a part of the 37th Annual Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival. FATW was chosen from more than nine hundred plays, and was among the Final Forty performed at the Beckett Theatre on Theatre Row. The play was originally produced by WorkShop Theater Company as part of “They That Have Borne The Battle:” a month-long festival of plays and readings to honor the men and women of the Armed Services. In other news, Greg’sten-minute play I, CARPENTER, has been published byPlayscripts, Inc. The play was first developed at EST under thetutelage of Founding Artistic Director, the late Curt Dempster, andreceived continued support in The Writers’ Forum at Manhattan TheatreSource before being produced there as part of the2011 InGenius Short Play Festival.
