Joy Jones recently appeared in the world premiere musical Jubilee at Arena Stage, two TV pilots, Little America and Daylight Daycare, and had a featured role in the independent film Augustus (all 2019). In Spring 2020, Joy will return to Arena Stage in August Wilson’s drama Seven Guitars.

Off-Broadway, she has appeared in workshops at The Public, Playwrights Horizons, and Rattlestick Theatre. Internationally, Joy performed in Tantalus (Royal Shakespeare Company). She has performed in regional theatres across the US and her favorite credits include: A Raisin in the Sun and Mary T & Lizzy K (Arena Stage), Invisible Man(Huntington Theatre), Ruined and Tantalus (Denver Center), Pericles (PlayMakers Repertory), Cloud 9, Belleville and Invisible Man (Studio Theatre), The Champion (TheatreSquared). Recent film projects: DC Noir, You Wear It Well.
