Emily Heilig
Emily Heiling makes custom costumes and dancewear under the name Emilye Nichole. She previously was the lecturer of costume technology and costume crafts supervisor at UNC-Greensboro. She has worked in NYC as a milliner with Marian “Killer” Jean Hose LLC and as a first hand for Radio City Music Hall’s Christmas Spectacular. Emily worked in the Washington, DC area as costume shop manager for Imagination Stage and milliner/dresser for Cirque du Soleil special events. She has also worked regionally as a costume shop manager, draper, first hand, crafts artisan, and costume designer for numerous theatre companies; such as Imagination Stage, PlayMakers Repertory Company, Virginia Repertory Company (formally Theatre IV/Barksdale Theatre), Carolina Ballet, Richmond Ballet, Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, Matthews Playhouse, and Theatre Charlotte. Previously, Emily was a member of IATSE 492-Studio Mechanics-Wardrobe working on the Jackie Robinson baseball film 42 and some county music videos.
