Thank you for your interest. Please choose from one of the following funds vital in supporting teaching, performance, production and research in the Department of Dramatic Art.
Designed to help us meet our most pressing needs for students and faculty. The DDA Gift Fund allows us to support departmental production, student research and travel or to bring in a special guest to lead a master class or direct a project.
The Kenan Theatre Company (KTC) is the Department of Dramatic Art’s undergraduate production company and helps fulfill our educational mission by creating theatre through the combined talents of undergraduate students, faculty, and guest artists.
This fund is specifically designed to bring in guest directors to direct an undergraduate production with the Kenan Theatre Company. By funding these directors, students not only establish professional connections within the theater industry, but they also gain first-hand experience in rehearsal and performance tactics to jumpstart their theatrical career.
The Tom Rezzuto Guest Lectureship brings professionals to conduct workshops with our students studying costume and scenic technologies. Guests have included William Ivey Long, David Glen and Janet Bloor among other artists at the cutting edge of theatre technology.
The LAB! is our student theatre in which undergraduates produce and perform ten shows in an academic year. Known for its high quality and experimental nature, LAB! represents the best of student theatre at Carolina.
Thank you so very much for your support. We couldn’t do it without you!
