Flor De Liz Perez starred in The Motherf***er With the Hat at the National Theatre of Great Britain, summer 2015.  Previously she joined the Public Theater’s Mobile Shakespeare Unit, cast as Marina in their production of Pericles, working under the direction of Rob Melrose (director of PRC2’s Happy Days) and in Romeo y Julietta, directed by Jerry Ruiz, who is now Associate Artistic Director of PlayMakers. Flor’s most recent update: “Working backwards, Belle (and various others) in Hartford Stage’s A Christmas Carol (directed by Rachel Alderman), so I’m heading over next month. I also shot my first guest star role on CBS’ Elementary this month (episode 7, to air in December), playing a West Point cadet under suspicion for a murder (directed by Jerry Levine). Recently ended my stint as understudy with Bedlam and their amazing production of Sense and Sensibility. I had several chances to go on in various roles (the two women I covered had about 2 or 3 characters each). It was a great delight and a great challenge. (Adapted by Kate Hamill, directed by Eric Tucker).  And prior to that, last winter I returned to the Public working with the Mobile Unit’s production of Comedy of Errors (directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah) in the role of Luciana. Flor De Liz also enjoyed a stint on CBS’ The Good Wife, playing Bonnie, a flustered secretary at Lockhart-Gardner. In a more unexpected turn, she is currently recording a series of voiceover demos for Head and Shoulders, impersonating Sofia Vergara (the commercials’ star). She continues to volunteer with the kids of Hell’s Kitchen at the 52nd Street Project. You can visit her website at www.flordelizperez.com.
