USITT-Southeast Design/Tech Expo award winners!
September 15, 2014Professors Bobbi Owen and Judy Adamson attended USITT-SE Master Classes in Tallahassee last weekend in part to prepare for hosting the event here next fall. Costume Production graduate students Katie Keener and Erin Abbenante also attended and entered the Design/Tech Expo competition. There were 20 entries from all aspects of theatrical design and production. The students display their projects and also do an oral presentation for the adjudicators and participants.
We are proud to announce that Katie Keener was one of the winners of the competition with her display of Islamic Inspired Warrior armor, boot covers and mask and helmet. Erin Abbenante was named an alternate with her 1910 dress, hat and parasol. The winners have registration fees waived for the national conference in March.
