Matthew Mallard earned his MFA in Costume Design and Technology from the University of Georgia and earned a BA in English and Professional Writing from the University of North Alabama. He has previously worked with Resident Ensemble Players in Delaware, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Westport Country Playhouse, Geva Theatre Company, and Janiec Opera Company at Brevard Music Center. Mallard has worked on productions with designers such as Jane Greenwood, Pamela Scofield, Toni-Leslie James, and Clint Ramos. Design credits include Much Ado About Nothing, Amadeus, The Diviners, and he assisted Jordan Carrier on her Suzi Bass Award nominated design for Legacy of Light with Atlanta’s Synchronicity Theatre.
