Wendy Barrie-Wilson

Wendy Barrie-Wilson was recently at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey playing in The Guardsman. Other recent performances include Miracle on South Division Street (Clara), I Capture the Castle(Mrs. Cotton)and The Grapes Of Wrath(Ma Joad). She can be seen on many reruns ofLaw & Order/SVU/CI, and inPBS “Novel Reflections,” adding to a long list of television credits. She performed Sister Aloysius in the European premiere ofDoubtat Vienna’s English theatre with Ray Dooley. Wendy received a SALT Award and a DayTony award for other productions ofDoubt.Variety hailed her Amanda Wingfield inThe Glass Menagerieas “one of the finest Amanda Wingfields in memory, and can proudly take her place alongside the memorable Amandas in this critic’s experience: Helen Hayes, Jessica Tandy, Julie Harris and Maureen Stapleton.“ Broadway:Our Town, starring Paul Newman;All My Sons, starring Richard Kiley. Wendy’s numerous regional credits include the Huntington Theatre, Denver Center, Actor’s Theatre of Louisville, Asolo, Alabama Shakespeare festival, Williamstown Theatre Festival among many others. Wendyworkedas Acting coach recently for a productionofMiddletown byWillEno. She alsodirected“Einstein and theRoosevelts.” Wendy is an accomplished potter and pottery teacher. She is a Professor of Acting at Denison University.
